According to available data, the terrorist, Mykhailo Filimonov, born in 1981 in Avdiivka, is a sniper of the 1st Army Corps of Russia's Armed Forces involved in the murder of Ukrainian soldiers as part of the Belye Lebedi (White Swans) subversive group.
A video dated November 2014 shows the militant holding a sniper rifle and explicitly recognizing his involvement in the mentioned subversive group. He also gives details of his war crimes against Ukrainian military.
Yesterday, Oct. 11, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported the apprehension of a "Donetsk People's Republic" militant, call sign 'Fil,' who was conducting reconnaissance of Ukrainian units' positions in the area of Mariupol.
According to the SBU, the 35-year-old Avdiivka resident has participated in combat activities since 2014 near Sloviansk, Shyrokyne, Sakhanka, Savur-Mohyla. Terrorist leaders conferred numerous 'awards' on him.
