 “I'm not entirely satisfied with wages legalization progress,” - Poroshenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is dissatisfied with the pace of bringing wages out of the shadow in the country.

He said at a meeting of the Regional Development Council, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"I can say that I am not entirely satisfied with the process of legalization of wages," Petro Poroshenko said.

He noted that the government had decided to significantly cut the unified social tax expecting the business to spend the funds saved on payment of declared salaries.

Poroshenko stated that the salary increase had not yet exceeded the savings made by the entrepreneurs due to the eased tax burden.

However, he noted that the process of bringing wages out of the shadow continued and expressed confidence of further improvement of the situation.
