Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as of the morning of Oct. 11.
As noted, militants committed 27 attacks in the area of Mariupol: "The armed provocations by the enemy involved the use of heavy weapons. In particular, Ukrainian troops deployed near Talakivka and Berdiansk came under 152 mm gun fire, while 122 mm howitzers were used against Shyrokyne. In addition, terrorists actively employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, hitting ATO forces' positions outside Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Marinka, Talakivka. Militants used IFVs, grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms to deliver fire towards Ukrainian defenders of Pavlopil and Hnutove."
As reported, 17 truce violations were recorded in the Luhansk region. The enemy opened fire on Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, Popasna, using weapons of different caliber, including 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
"Three attacks against ATO forces were recorded in the area of Donetsk. Avdiivka came under 82 mm mortar fire, while Zaitseve was hit by 120 mm mortars," the report reads.
As previously reported, on Oct. 9, Russian hybrid forces opened fire on Ukrainian positions 22 times.
