Censor.NET reports referring to the National Police in the Chernihiv region press service.
"At around 4 a.m., Oct. 9, the Bobrovytskyi police station received an anonymous message that a group of unknown thugs had arrived at a village night club and started a fight using a knife and an explosive device. The scene was rocked by a blast," the report reads.
As noted, the police and explosive engineers came to the scene in no time. Four people were found to have been injured, one of whom (a resident of Kyiv) was taken to Bobrovytskyi district hospital with stab wounds.
According to the victim, he received injuries during a fight that took place near the club. An unknown attacker hit him from behind. After that, the threshold of the club's building was rocked by a blast. The shrapnel injured three people who were taken to Bobrovytskyi district hospital. Their lives are out of danger now. The blast also damaged a Skoda Octavia that was parked nearby.
The fragments of the grenade (presumably RGD-5), the safety lever and the knife have been taken for examination.
On the same day, the police detained the suspect for the attempted murder - a resident of Bobrovytsia. Pursuant to article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, he has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigation is underway.
