 22 attacks registered over past day, militants used 122 mm, 82 mm artillery, IFV, - Staff

Over the past day, Russian hybrid forces opened fire upon Ukrainian positions 22 times.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as of the morning of Oct. 10.

According to the Staff, 16 attacks were registered in the vicinity of Mariupol: "The enemy violated the cease-fire near Marinka, Hranitne and Pavlopil, using grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms. Moreover, Marinka came under 82 mm mortar attack, while Shyrokyne was hit by 122 mm artillery."

As noted, four attacks were recorded in the area of Donetsk.

"Militants employed IFV, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against positions outside Novhorodske, while strong points in Avdiivka sustained 82 mm mortar attack," the report notes.

As also reported, in the Luhansk region, two cases of truce breach were registered: "ATO strongholds in the vicinity of Triokhizbenka came under heavy machine gun and grenade launcher attack. The same weapons were used by Russian occupation troops in the area of Novooleksandrivka."

On Oct. 8, terrorists carried out 48 attacks on ATO forces positions.
