The next step will be gradual demining of the area abandoned by the troops after the disengagement. The disengagement of troops and hardware in the vicinity of Bohdanivka and Petrivske villages in the Donbas was successfully completed yesterday. The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to equip an OSCE observation post and a stronghold in the area.

Ukrainian representative of the JCCC announced, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.

"Representatives of the OSCE SMM must constantly monitor the area of disengagement. The results of their observations are the daily reports of the OSCE SMM. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already started equipping an observation post and a stronghold for the OSCE SMM in order to ensure the safety of the observers and to prevent unforeseen situations in the area," the report reads.

Ukrainian representatives of the JCCC will guard the positions, left by Ukrainian soldiers, all day.

The Staff reminded that the process of disengagement does not affect the demarcation line, it remains unchanged. The Army controls the territory and will return to the forefront if anything happens.

The next step will be gradual demining of the area. The disengagement on other sites will be conducted in accordance with the cease-fire agreements and under the constant monitoring by the OSCE SMM.
