The militants shelled the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces 38 times over the past 24 hours, Censor.NET reports citing the рress service of the Defense Ministry.
17 cases of fire were reported in the Mariupol sector. Marinka town remained a hot spot as the terrorists fired at Ukrainian troops from 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and IFV guns.
In the Luhansk sector, 15 cases of cease-fire violations were recorded. Armed provocations against Ukrainian servicemen continued at Novooleksandrivka, which was shelled with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns, and fired at from small arms. Strongholds of the ATO forces in Novozvanivka came under 120 mm mortar fire, while Krymske was fired at from automatic grenade launchers.
Six fire reports came from the Donetsk sector. Zaitseve was mortared with 82 mm shells, while Verkhniotoretske and Avdiivka were fired from large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms.
Hranitne and Pavlopil were fired from small arms. Shyrokyne was mortared, while Starohnativka was fired from IFV guns.
