"I think that the work of the central bank is perfect in reducing inflation, reforming the banking system. Ukraine has managed to avoid a budgetary disaster, but much remains to be done. On the other hand, nothing has been done in terms of a very important reform - privatization. We need to reduce corruption and improve economic efficiency. Much can and should be done on demonopolization," he said.
Answering a question about who hinders reforms in Ukraine, he said: "Populists do that, those who speak as if they are friends of the poor but do them harm. They slow down privatization and the establishment of real land market. It is necessary to keep a close eye on these populists so that they do less harm to people."
