As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, the head of state told a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday when asked about the prospects of introducing visa requirements for Russians.
"I'm waiting for the parliament's decision," Poroshenko said.
The president added that the issue required public discussion.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andrii Parubii advocated visa regime introduction with the Russian Federation as well as expansion of sanctions against it.
