This was stated by Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman during a meeting with Head of the EU Delegation in Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli, Censor.NET reports citing the Cabinet's press service.
The prime minister stressed the necessity of addressing tasks that are on the EU-Ukraine current agenda, including the ratification of the Association Agreement, the use of the second tranche of macro-financial assistance in the amount of 600 million euros, and the introduction of visa-free travel for Ukrainians.
"We look forward to an EU's decision on visa-free travel for Ukrainian citizens," Hroisman said, noting that Ukraine for its part has met all the necessary requirements for the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukrainians.
In addition, the prime minister noted that the Cabinet continues working on reforms.
Mingarelli praised the government's efforts on the path of reforms. He noted that Ukraine has changed a lot over the past two years.
Hroisman also stressed the need for a thorough preparation of the Association Council meeting scheduled for Dec. 19 in order to achieve real positive results.
"I hope that your personal role will be significant for the success of our bilateral relations," the prime minister noted.
