"Hroisman was painting fences at Vinnytsia cemetery in 2008. He definitely does not understand general policy," – MP Vlasenko on PM's statement

Batkivshchyna faction MP Serhii Vlasenko cast doubt on Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman’s competence and accused him of lack of general policy understanding. The lawmaker also refused to comment on today's statement by the prime minister that the Cabinet headed by Yulia Tymoshenko made a commitment to start selling Ukrainian land back in 2008.

Serhii Vlasenko told Censor.NET correspondent on the sidelines of the Ukrainian parliament.

"Volodymyr Hroisman was painting fences at Vinnytsia cemetery in 2008. He definitely does not understand the general policy... I think Volodymyr Hroisman has already done so much for Ukraine that he has not put himself on the record but rather got into a mess," Vlasenko said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman said former PM Yulia Tymoshenko's government pledged to the IMF to open Ukraine's land market back in 2008. "Yulia Tymoshenko pledged to start selling Ukrainian land back in 2008. Here is the signature to the memorandum. I propose the citizens to question the politician assuming that the people have short memory," the PM said.
