Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as at 6 a.m. Oct. 5.
According to the Staff, 36 violations of silence regime were recorded at Luhansk direction: "The militants committed armed provocations in the vicinity of Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, Triokhizbenka, Stanytsia Luhanska, and Popasna using small arms, machine guns and grenade launchers. Sniper attacks were recorded in Novooleksandrivka, Popasna, and Stepne. The enemy employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, 122 mm artillery and infantry fighting vehicles against Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka. Besides, Novooleksandrivka was fired at with an anti-aircraft gun."
13 attacks were reportedly committed at Donetsk direction: "The militants fired at the positions near Avdiivka, Novhorodske, Kamianka, and Zaitseve with grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. The enemy shelled Novoselivka Druha and Avdiivka with 120 mm mortars.
"19 attacks were recorded at Mariupol section of the front. The enemy violated truce on the outskirts of Marinka, Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Starohnativka, and Hnutove using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. The militants employed anti-tank missile system against Ukrainian military deployed near Slavne. In addition, the occupants fired upon Talakivka and Lebedynske with IFV guns. The enemy sniper committed attacks in Marinka. Talakivka was also shelled with 82 mm mortar."
The Staff noted that one hostile drone was spotted flying in the ATO area over the past day.
As reported, the Russian occupation troops fired upon the Ukrainian forces' positions 32 times Oct. 3.
