 Cabinet to consider amendments to Tax Code on Wednesday

The Cabinet of Ministers will consider the bill amending the Tax Code of Ukraine at its meeting on Oct. 5.

"The Cabinet of Ministers at its next meeting on Wednesday will consider the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine. After the governmental approval, the anti-corruption bill will be submitted for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada," the statement reads.

As noted, the document provides for the simplification of tax administration that will reduce costs for businesses.

Key tax changes include the introduction of five-year tax holidays for newly established small businesses, the introduction of a transparent VAT refund through a single registry, and the transfer of databases from the State Fiscal Service to the Ministry of Finance.
