As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in a report as at 6 a.m. Oct. 3, posted on Facebook.
According to the Staff, 16 cases of cease-fire violations were recorded at Luhansk direction:
"Occupants employed grenade launchers, an anti-aircraft mount, and small arms to fire at Stanytsia Luhanska; they used grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms near Krymske, Novooleksandrivka, and Novozvanivka. In addition, positions of our troops near Krymske and Novooleksandrivka were shelled by the enemy from 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
"At Mariupol direction, 20 cases of shelling were recorded. The enemy violated the cease-fire near Pavlopil, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne, having used grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. A sniper operated upon Pavlopil, while Shyrokyne came under IFV fire," the report reads.
A dozen of cases of shelling are reported at Donetsk direction:
"Militants employed grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms upon Avdiivka, Novhorodske, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka, and Zaitseve. Zaitseve and Avdiivka were shelled from mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber. 152 mm cannon artillery was employed upon Zaitseve. The enemy also used a tank against Ukrainian defenders near Avdiivka, and a sniper was operating at Verkhniotoretske," the report reads.
Earlier, pro-Russian militants opened fire upon Ukrainian Army positions 47 times on Oct. 1.
