 Canada to provide National Police of Ukraine $8M in assistance, - Ambassador Shevchenko

Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andrii Shevchenko announced that the government of Canada will provide the National Police of Ukraine additional $8M in assistance.

Censor.NET reports citing Shevchenko's Twitter.

"Canada has announced providing the National Police of Ukraine with additional $8,100,000," he wrote.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Stephane Dion, $6,600,000 to be spent on training of National Police officers. Another $1,500,000 will be spent on purchasing of new police equipment.
