 Ukrainian President and Dutch PM underscore importance of bringing MH17 perpetrators to justice

In the course of his visit to Israel, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held negotiations with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.

The parties commended preliminary results of the JIT's investigation into the MH17 tragedy. Petro Poroshenko and Mark Rutte emphasized the importance of completing the investigation and bringing the perpetrators to justice. In this context, the Dutch Prime Minister informed that the Russian ambassador had been summoned to the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands.

The president drew attention to the necessity of preserving unity between the EU countries for the continuation of sanction pressure on Russia until full restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.

Mark Rutte noted the importance of prompt provision of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians.

The parties coordinated efforts to accelerate the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
