 Militants shelled Ukrainian Army positions 33 times yesterday, used mortars, grenade launchers, IFVs, - Staff

Over the past 24-hour period Russian occupation troops opened fire upon Ukrainian defenders' positions 33 times.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center in a report as at 6 a.m. Sept. 30, posted on Facebook.

The Staff reports 12 cases of cease-fire violations at Luhansk direction.

"The enemy conducted armed provocations using grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms near Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, and Popasna. The enemy fired upon Novooleksandrivka from 82 mm mortars and an anti-aircraft mount.

"At Mariupol direction, 10 cases of shelling were recorded. The enemy violated the cease-fire in Marinka, Talakivka, Starohnativka, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil, using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. Militants also shelled Ukrainian defenders' positions in Pavlopil from an IFV.

"At Donetsk direction, 11 cases of shelling were recorded. The enemy fired upon Avdiivka and Novhorodske using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. Avdiivka was also shelled from an 82 mm mortar. A sniper was operating near Verkhniotoretske," the report reads.

The Staff said one enemy drone was spotted near Stanytsia Luhanska.

Earlier, on Sept. 28 the enemy opened fire upon Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions 25 times.
