Lutsenko to simplify procedure of MPs prosecution

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko initiates changes that will allow the Verkhovna Rada to simplify consideration of motions to bring lawmakers to criminal liability.

The prosecutor general said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

According to him, it is necessary to reduce the time required for consideration of motions by the relevant parliamentary committee. He also believes that as soon as such motion is submitted to Rada, an MP must immediately hand over his/her IDs, including travel passport.
