 Poroshenko initiates Rada’s extraordinary session to dismiss judges-oathbreakers before Sept. 30. DOCUMENT (in Ukrainian)

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called on the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada to hold an extraordinary session to dismiss judges who violated oath.

The president wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

The statement reads: "I urged the Verkhovna Rada chairman to convene an extraordinary meeting of the parliament before Sept. 30 to dismiss the judges for violation of oath. Those judges who were recommended for dismissal by the High Council of Justice, including those involved in the illegal arrests of the Maidan activists.

"We cannot allow these judges to continue executing justice on behalf of Ukraine," Petro Poroshenko wrote.
