 Law enforcers to question suspect in police officers murder in Dnipro City today, - Interior Ministry

Today, Sept. 26, law enforcers intend to question the man who allegedly killed two police officers in Dnipro City on Sept. 25.

This was announced by Interior Ministry's communication department director Artem Shevchenko to Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.

"They will conduct all required investigation activities, including the interrogation of the suspect," he said.

According to Shevchenko, the suspect will be interrogated on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

As reported, a traffic law violator shot a patrol officer dead and wounded his female partner in Dnipro City Sunday morning. According to preliminary information, the patrol crew stopped a Citroen car for violation of traffic rules. The driver began to resist the police officers, made a few shots, and fled the scene. A male patrol officer died on spot, while his female partner officer did not survive a surgery. Later, the interior minister confirmed detention of a suspect in the murder.
