One soldier wounded, no one killed over past 24 hours, - ATO speaker

No Ukrainian soldier was killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine on Sept. 24. One soldier was wounded.

This was announced by Defense Ministry speaker on the ATO matters Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"One Ukrainian military received injuries at Avdiivka yesterday. No one was killed," he said.

According to him, the terrorists continue to violate the cease-fire, mostly using firearms. They used mortars only in the Donetsk sector, having fired about four dozens of mortar shells at the ATO forces.

"The militants also violate the cease-fire in Zolote (a place specified for withdrawal of forces and weapons - ed.). Moreover, they prevented the OSCE SMM observers from entering by blocking the roadway in "LPR"-controlled Pervomaisk-Zolote area with concrete blocks," Lysenko said.
