 Poroshenko met with Hungarian President János Áder

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with President of Hungary János Áder in the course of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the president.

The parties agreed to intensify bilateral political dialogue at the highest level.

János Áder confirmed the unwavering support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and continuation of the policy of sanctions against Russia.

Petro Poroshenko thanked Hungary for the provision of financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and treatment of Ukrainian military.

The parties agreed to enhance economic cooperation, particularly in the spheres of energy, agriculture and infrastructure projects.

The Hungarian president supported granting of the visa-free regime for Ukraine as soon as possible.

János Áder confirmed his participation in the activities on the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy that will be held on Sept. 29 in Kyiv.
