Ukraine's relations with U.S. and Western world threatened by corruption, - former U.S. Defense Chief Panetta

Ukraine risks losing support of the U.S. and entire West if its authorities fail to fight corruption and enhance the state's governability.

This was announced by former U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in an interview with LIGA.net., Censor.NET reports.

If for some reason the Ukrainian government fails to fight corruption and enhance the state's governability, and Ukrainian leaders fail to cooperate with each other with the purpose of defending the country, all of this will compromise relations not only with the U.S., but also with the entire West, Panetta said.
