Ukraine should be first not to recognize elections both in Crimea and Russian Federation, - deputy head of Mejlis Umerov

Ukraine should not recognize the results of the elections to the State Duma of Russia.

Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov said, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.

"The fact of elections in the occupied, unrecognized territory, which belongs to another state, is a crime. Ukraine should be the first not to recognize the elections both in Crimea and the Russian Federation because the elections are held on a mixed system: majority election and proportional representation," he commented.
