 Pro-Russian militants fired at Ukrainian positions in Donetsk region from IFV, grenade launchers and machine guns, - Kindsfater

The militants violated the cease-fire for about 14 times in the Mariupol sector over the past 24 hours.

Speaker of the M sector Oleksandr Kindsfater told 112 TV Channel, Censor.NET reports.

"The Russian occupants violated the cease-fire for about 14 times over the past 24 hours. They continued to fire at Ukrainian positions near Marinka, Pavlopil, Talakivka, and Shyrokyne. Russian mercenaries used IFV weapon, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Ukrainian stronghold at Talakivka was fired from grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicles. Given the direct threat to their lives, Ukrainian soldiers fired back. Once this is done, the militants gave up the fire," he said.

According to him, there are no casualties among Ukrainian military reported.

"Since the beginning of the day, it was reported about militants' attack near Marinka. The militants used small arms. Ukrainian military did not fire back," the press officer added.
