Activists of radical nationalist movements, in particular the C14, held a rally with fireworks at the embassy of the Russian Federation early hours Sept. 17, Censor.NET reports citing Аpostrophe.ua.
According to the report, about 15 young people in masks deployed a banner with the slogan "Russian pigs, you are not welcome here. Fireworks today, Grads tomorrow" at the embassy building. After that, the protesters lit several flares, shouting "Russian pig, your elections are not welcomed in Ukraine!"
At the end of the rally, they lit a big firework, aimed at the entrance to the embassy, and a smoke bomb.
On Sept. 10, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that full-fledged elections to the State Duma in the Russian diplomatic missions in the territory of Ukraine will be possible if Russia refuses to hold elections in occupied Crimea.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that elections to the State Duma will be held in Ukraine despite the refusal of the Ukrainian authorities to assist in it.
