The Russian occupation forces continue inviting retaliation of the Ukrainian military attacking their positions with high-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms. The invaders also frequently use 82 and 120 mm mortars as well as 152 and 122 mm artillery banned by the Minsk agreements.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

The latest update reads: "The Russian occupation forces violated the cease-fire along the line of contact 26 times from midnight to 6 p.m. today.

"The enemy employed grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms against the positions of the Ukrainian military in Avdiivka, Verkhniotoretske, Zaitseve, Pisky, and Luhanske.

"In addition, the occupants shelled Luhanske, Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Pisky, and Leninske with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. The enemy also committed strikes on positions near Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Kamianka, and Verkhniotoretske with 152 mm and 122 mm artillery banned by the Minsk agreements to exert moral coercion on the ATO forces' detachments.

"At Luhansk direction, the militants committed armed provocations in the vicinity of Novozvanivka using grenade launchers and small arms.

"Vodiane and Shyrokyne villages at Mariupol direction were fired at by the Russian occupation forces with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms," the report reads.
