This was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing LIGA.net.
"Tomorrow, we will submit the budget bill for 2017 to the parliament," he said.
The head of government noted that financing of national security and defense of Ukraine was discussed at the National Security and Defense Council's meeting yesterday.
"After the NSDC's resolution, the Ministry of Finance should finish their work today. I see no obstacles for that. We will actually be able to hold a governmental meeting tomorrow in order to submit the budget bill in time and to work with MPs on its passing," Hroisman explained.
It was reported earlier that the government intended to allocate 5 percent of GDP for security and defense expenditures. Road construction and repair is second largest expense, with 14B hryvnia stipulated on it. Farm businesses will be allocated with 5.5B hryvnia for their support.
