"Ukraine should become energy self-sufficient state in five years," - PM Hroisman

Ukraine should gain full energy self-sufficiency in five years.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, this was announced by Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman.

"State gas enterprises are reviving, they will extract Ukrainian gas. The task is to increase equity production by 7 billion cubic meters in five years, which is absolutely possible. In five years, we should become a fully energy self-sufficient state," he said.

The head of the government stressed that Ukraine could lower the consumption with higher energy efficiency.
