 Poroshenko greets Ukrainian Paralympic champions with 49 medals: your results are unbelievable

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has greeted Ukrainian Paralympic team with four successful days at the competition in Rio.

As reported by Censor.NET, the head of state wrote on his Facebook page.

"The Ukrainian Paralympic team's performance in Rio is unbelievable - they rank third after four days of competition, with 49 medals won! At the individual medley 200 m, Denys Dubrov, Maksym Krypak, and Dmytro Vanzenko won all three medals," Poroshenko wrote.

The president reminded that the Ukrainian anthem in Brazil played in honor of swimmers Oleksii Fedyna and Yelyzaveta Mereshko, track athlete Leyla Adzhametova, rower Poman Polianskyi, and tennis player Natalia Kosmyna. On the fourth day of the competition, silver and bronze awards were won by track athletes Zoia Yevsiei and Dmytro Prudnykov, swimmers Viktoriia Savtsova, Maksym Krypak, Dmytro Vanzenko, and Serhii Palamarchuk.
