Russian militants prevent OSCE observers from monitoring Pionerske village in Luhansk region for several weeks - ATO speaker

The militants have once again violated the international law by making impediments to the work of the OSCE observers.

Ukraine's MoD speaker on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) related matters Colonel Andrii Lysenko told a briefing, Censor.NET reports.

"Yesterday, the militants of the "LPR" illegal armed group denied observers' access to Pionerske village in the Luhansk region situated near the Ukrainian-Russian border. The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has been unable to get access to the village for the past few weeks. This is a blatant violation of the Minsk agreements stipulating free access for observers throughout the ATO area," he said.
