As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
"We have to submit this budget in the parliament in September. I would like to have a high-quality dialogue around the parliament. But, as I said earlier, the government of Ukraine will submit an "honest" budget to the parliament. The budget will be honest for two reasons: [it will include] real incomes, and absolutely transparent allocation of these incomes for the needs of the state and Ukrainian citizens," the PM said.
He stressed that the national security and defense are the government's top priority when forming the budget draft.
According to Hroisman, other priorities include economic growth and infrastructure development, support of decentralization and land-owning classes, implementation of energy efficiency on a more active level, and increase of teachers' salaries.
