Cabinet to submit "honest" budget draft to Rada in September, - PM Hroisman

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to submit an 'honest' bill "On the state budget of Ukraine for 2017" with real income and transparent expenses in September.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday.

"We have to submit this budget in the parliament in September. I would like to have a high-quality dialogue around the parliament. But, as I said earlier, the government of Ukraine will submit an "honest" budget to the parliament. The budget will be honest for two reasons: [it will include] real incomes, and absolutely transparent allocation of these incomes for the needs of the state and Ukrainian citizens," the PM said.

He stressed that the national security and defense are the government's top priority when forming the budget draft.
