 French, German foreign ministers to visit Ukraine next week, - Steinmeier

Foreign Ministers of Germany and France, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Jean-Marc Ayrault, are going to visit Ukraine next week.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to DW Ukraine, Frank-Walter Steinmeier announced it in the Bundestag.

The ministers will discuss the possibility of resuming the Normandy format.

In his speech, Steinmeier spoke in favor of tightening the deterrence of Russia on the part of NATO. He also stressed the need for a dialogue with Russia so that the alienation between Eastern and Western Europe will not cause another split into two camps.

A question of war and peace has been once gain raised on the continent, the minister remarked.

Tomorrow, Sept. 8, Steinmeier is going to meet with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Berlin.
