 Terrorists used mortars outside Shyrokyne, grenade launchers near Avdiivka, - ATO press center

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area is characterized by single armed provocations on the part of Russian hybrid forces.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO Staff press center.

"From midnight till 6 p.m. of Sept. 7, 2016, seven cease-fire violations by paramilitary groups were recorded along the entire contact line.

"In particular, in the area of Mariupol, the situation was strained outside Shyrokyne, where militants used 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns. In the vicinity of Marinka and Hranitne, the enemy delivered harassing small arms fire.

"Militants committed provocative attacks outside Avdiivka (north of Donetsk), using small arms and grenade launchers.

"No heavy weaponry was employed. The Ukrainian military continue to unswervingly adhere to the Minsk agreements," the evening report notes
