The meeting is aimed at discussion of organization of aviation safety training courses for the personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Canadian experts plan to train aviation specialists of the Land Forces, Navy, and Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in two stages starting from late 2016.
The parties are going to engage in a detailed discussion of the training courses' agenda and content in view of the needs of the Ukrainian side. The meeting is planned to be held at the base of the air transport brigade deployed in the Vinnytsia region over the next two days.
During the visit, the foreign partners are also going to visit Kyiv and Lviv garrisons, meet with representatives of the aviation safety services of different branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the Ukrainian MoD's Main Inspectorate, as well as hold a working meeting with representatives of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, regional ICAO training centers, the Kyiv based National Bureau investigating accidents and incidents with participation of civil aircraft, pay a visit to the Hetman Sahaidachnyi National Academy of Land Forces, and Danylo Halytskyi Lviv International airport.
