Militants used mortars, IFVs in Shyrokyne-Talakivka area, - ATO press center

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in the east of Ukraine is stable and controlled, with the exception of single armed provocations by Russian hybrid forces.

Censor.NET reports referring to the ATO press center.

"From midnight till 6 p.m. of Sept. 6, 2016, seven cease-fire violations by paramilitary groups were recorded along the entire contact line.

"In the vicinity of Mariupol, the situation was restless in the area of the front between Shyrokyne and Talakivka villages, where militants used 120 mm and 80 mm mortars as well as an IFV.

"Near Donetsk, the enemy committed provocative attacks against Avdiivka, employing machine guns.

"In the Luhansk region, terrorists fired small arms towards our positions outside Novozvanivka. No heavy weaponry was employed.

"Despite all the provocations, the Ukrainian military unswervingly adhere to the Minsk agreements," the evening report notes.
