 Inter TV channel’s ex-Managing Editor Stolyarova received cash from slush funds, - MP Herashchenko

Ex-Managing Editor of the Inter TV channel Maria Stolyarova was receiving off-the book payments as the channel’s employee.

MP, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Herashchenko said at Svoboda Slova TV show, Censor.NET reports citing Espreso.TV.

According to the lawmaker, Maria Stolyarova was receiving huge amounts of money in cash from slush funds as Inter TV channel's Managing Editor. He added that he was talking about off-the book payments in the amount of $5,000-$10,000.

The information was obtained from personal correspondence of Russian national Maria Stolyarova.

However, the origin of the slush funds making payments to Inter TV channel's ex-managing editor is unknown. Herashchenko believes that Ukraine's special services must investigate this fact.

Earlier, SBU expelled Inter TV channel's journalist Maria Stolyarova from Ukraine in late February 2016. She was banned from entering the country for a five-year period.
