"Besides, one of the most important issues of the parliament's first plenary week is to enshrine in law the welfare and well-being of our children. With this objective in view, the president has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft No. 4784 stipulating procedural and institutional conditions for social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care. This bill requires urgent study by the relevant parliamentary committee and subsequent adoption in the parliament," the lawmaker noted.

"Moreover, it is vital to consider a number of bills relating to other fields at this plenary week. They include defense bill No. 2504 stipulating creation of a unified state register of persons liable for call-up; information policy bill No. 4815 improving sanctions imposition procedures by the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine. The relevant committee should speed up review of the bill No. 2966-p on the activities of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine stipulating measures necessary for fulfilling terms for the EU's second tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 600 million euros," the official said.
