Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk announced at a briefing today, Censor.NET reports.
"No Ukrainian military was killed in action over the past 24-hour period. One soldier of the Armed Forces was injured in Avdiivka. Besides, four soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and one officer of the State Border Guard Service received injuries in the vicinity of Stanytsia Luhanska as a grenade exploded in a medical car they were riding by. Another two soldiers were injured by the blast of an unknown explosive device," he said.
Motuzianyk refused to disclose more details on the grenade explosion that injured five servicemen riding by the medical vehicle. He explained that the interdepartmental committee and the military police were investigating the incident.
Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council reported 10,000 Ukrainians had been killed and 20,000 more injured over the past two years as a result of hostilities in the country's east.
