 G20 summit kicks off in China

Building innovative, healthy, coherent and inclusive global economy is the key issue on its agenda.

The G20 summit started in Chinese city of Hangzhou, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.

The summit will be held during the two next days. Its key topic is building innovative, healthy, coherent and inclusive global economy.

As reported, Paris and Berlin are set to raise the issue of peace process in Ukraine.

Mejlis Chairman Refat Chubarov said earlier that the Crimean issue will also be discussed on the sidelines of the meeting.

In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met on the eve of the G20 summit in China.

The G20 members include 19 individual countries - Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States along with the European Union. The IMF, the European Central Bank and the World Bank are among the permanent participants of the meetings.

Overall, the Group of Twenty states account for over 85 percent of the gross world product (GWP). They are home to more than 60 percent of the world population, whereas 66 percent of poor people also live in these countries.
