Lithuania gave Ukraine unused ammunition, which became unnecessary after the country's transition to NATO standards.

This was announced in a report of the Lithuania's Defense Ministry, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainiski Novyny.

"Lithuania actively supports the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine using all possible legal means, including military assistance, i n connection with Russia's military aggression, " the statement reads.

Lithuania gave Ukraine unused ammunition, which became unnecessary after the country's transition to NATO standards. Costs for delivery of the ammunition are covered by the Ukrainian side.
