As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated in the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center, Sept. 3.
According to the Staff, 11 attacks were recorded over the past 24-hour period, including one near Donetsk, two in the Luhansk region and eight in the vicinity of Mariupol.
In the Mariupol sector, the militants fired from grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns at Shyrokyne, while Marinka, Vodiane and Starohnativka were fired from small arms. A sniper was spotted in the vicinity of Marinka.
In the Luhansk sector, Russian-occupational forces opened fire from automatic mounted grenade launchers at Bohuslavske and from small arms at Novooleksandrivka.
In the Donetsk sector, Avdiivka was fired from 120mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not respond to provocations and do not open return fire.
In order to assist the local population, servicemen of the civil-military co-operation together with ADRA international humanitarian organization delivered the inhabitants of Vodiane village 1,000 liters of bottled drinking water and handed humanitarian aid to more than a dozen of local inhabitants. Eight families are staying without water and electricity supply in the half-destroyed village of Vodiane.
