As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated in the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center as at 6 a.m., Sept. 2.
As noted, eight attacks were recorded in the vicinity of Donetsk and three near Mariupol.
A fragile lull is observed in the Luhansk region.
"In the area outside Donetsk, the enemy used automatic grenade launchers against Troitske and Nevelske. Positions in Avdiivka were hit with automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Luhanske and Verkhniotoretske came under small arms fire," the report reads.
As also noted, militants employed small arms to attack Marinka and Hranitne in the vicinity of Mariupol.
According to the press center, the Ukrainian military do not respond to provocations and steadily adhere to the Minsk agreements.
As previously reported, on Aug. 31, Russian occupation forces committed 25 attacks on ATO positions.
