 Novhorodske, Krasnohorivka shelled with 122-mm artillery, - ATO press center

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remains strained but controlled. 33 enemy attacks have been registered since midnight.

"In the vicinity of Donetsk, Russian hybrid forces employed artillery in violation of the Minsk agreement, having fired some three dozen 122-mm rounds on Novhorodske.

"120-mm mortars were used against Ukrainian positions in Verkhniotoretske and Pisky. ATO forces in Avdiivka, Luhanske and Pisky were sprayed with various types of grenade launchers, 82-mm mortars and heavy machine guns. Armed provocations in Maiorsk involved grenade launchers and small arms while an IFV was used in Luhanske.

"13 attacks occurred near Mariupol, including two with heavy artillery: the enemy fired over 50 122-mm rounds on positions in Krasnohorivka.

"Terrorists employed 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to hit Shyrokyne.

"Krasnohorivka came under mortar attack while grenade launchers, small arms and sniper weaponry were used against Marinka.

"In the Luhansk region, the enemy committed three attacks against Novooleksandrivka, involving mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. In the afternoon, Novozvanivka came under grenade launcher and machine gun fire," the evening report notes.
