 Poroshenko appoints Svitlychna acting head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration

Kharkiv Regional State Administration First Deputy Head Yulia Svitlychna was appointed acting head of this government body.

Censor.NET reports citing the relevant decree by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko of Aug. 29, published on the official website of the president.

"I hereby resolve to temporarily devolve responsibility of the head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration on Yulia Svitlychna," the document reads.

Yulia Svitlychna, 32, was Kharkiv Regional State Administration deputy head since November 2014 and Kharkiv Regional State Administration First Deputy Head since April 2016. She also heads Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction in the regional council.

As reported, Presidential Administration Head Borys Lozhkin was supposed to resign from his current post of Presidential Administration chief to head the National Investment Council, as well as become an external adviser to the president as early as the next week. Later, Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Ihor Rainin was appointed head of the Presidential Administration after Borys Lozhkin's resignation.
