Ukraine's Cabinet launches e-petition system, - PM Hroisman

A petition should score at least 25,000 votes to be considered by the government.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

As noted, starting from Aug. 29, 2016, anyone may initiate consideration of important public issues by submitting an e-petition to the Cabinet at petition.kmu.gov.ua.

"It's an effective tool to involve people in choosing state policy priorities and making managerial decisions. Having registered with the system, citizens may both submit electronic petitions to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and support those already existing. A petition should score at least 25,000 votes within three months after its publication to be considered by the government," the prime minister noted.

"We continue to implement modern tools of e-governance and e-democracy within the Cabinet. You are welcome to share your suggestions and ideas to develop Ukraine," Hroisman stressed.
