 Three people killed by cluster bombs in Syria

Three people were killed, eight injured as Russia launched an airstrike in northern Syria’s Idlib province on Saturday.

Censor.NET reports citing Anadolu.

Russian aviation shelled Tuma and Shalag villages with banned cluster bombs. The injured were taken to a hospital.

Civil defense units are searching the area looking for unexploded shells.

Russia, an ally of the Bashar al-Assad regime, has been conducting a massive air campaign against Assad's opponents since September.

According to London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights, a total of 2,704 Syrian civilians have been killed by Russian airstrikes since Moscow began its operation in Syria.
