The press service of the Mykolaiv regional Prosecutor's Office told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.
According to the press service, all the detainees are officers of the Kryve Ozero police precinct.
"The names of two of the six police officers detained on suspicion of Oleksandr Tsukerman's murder in Kryve Ozero (Mykolaiv region) are Oleksandr Prychepoida and Roman Bohach. Both of them are locals, that is, they are residents of Kryve Ozero. We are figuring out the names of the other four," journalist Dmytro Hnap wrote on Facebook.
Ealier, Oleksandr Tsukerman was reported murdered by police officers after he was detained in Kryve Ozero village in the Mykolaiv region Aug. 24. On Aug. 25, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko announced the law enforcers apprehended three police officers on suspicion of beating to death the person they had previously detained. The court hearing on their pretrial detention was scheduled for Aug. 25.
