 19 attacks recorded since midnight, enemy used artillery, mortars, - ATO press center

Militants continue to violate the cease-fire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area. Today, they committed 19 attacks upon Ukrainian army positions.

Censor.NET reports referring to the ATO press center.

"At Donetsk direction, the enemy employed the Minsk-banned heavy artillery to shell ATO forces' positions in Novobakhmutivka. Overall, 40 122-mm rounds were fired toward our military.

"In Avdiivka and Novoselivka Druha, terrorists fired 82-mm mortars. Additionally, in Avdiivka, the enemy employed automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. RPG's were used in Pisky. Enemy sniper activity was registered outside Avdiivka.

"At Mariupol direction, the enemy fired 120-mm mortars on our positions in Krasnohorivka while Shyrokyne came under 82-mm mortar and grenade launcher attack. Automatic grenade launchers were used in Hnutove and Vodiane, small arms in Hranitne.

"In the Luhansk region, the enemy fired grenade launchers and heavy machine guns before dawn. In daylight, the cease-fire was observed in the area," the evening report notes.
