Foreign Ministry invests efforts for Ukrainians to get visa-free travel with EU in coming months, - Klimkin

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry makes efforts for visa waiver program between Ukraine and the EU to be kicked off in the coming months.

As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine TV channel, this was stated by Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin at a meeting with the heads of Ukraine's diplomatic missions.

"We are making efforts for the visa waiver program with the EU to be kicked off in the coming months. For me, this is not just a technical feasibility to travel in the EU without visas but the recognition of Ukraine and Ukrainians' membership in the European project, the European tradition, the European way of life. By the way, Ukrainians will be able to travel in almost 100 countries around the world without visas upon visa waiver program implementation. And it is not just a slogan, it's the way we endeavor to open the world for Ukrainians," the minister stressed.
